If your computer or smart phone has a webcam or inbuilt camera, our Doctor on Duty may elect to offer you the convenience of a Video consultation. This facility is at the discretion of the Doctor on Duty, where it is deemed necessary and only where your express consent has been given. So don’t delay – get enrolling now to avail of the latest in Primary Care technology currently in use today.

When you contact our out-of-hours Call Centre (Tel.: 01 4539333)

In case of a serious health risk please dial 999.

Use the VSee Video Chat facility to discuss any non-life-threatening condition. All of the incoming calls to the Doctor on Duty Call Centre are recorded for security purposes.

When you contact the Call Centre, our operatives will consult with the Doctor on Duty who will consider your case and decide if a Video chat is appropriate or not.

Where a Video chat is deemed appropriate our operatives will confirm the following with you:

  • That you are willing to proceed with the Video chat on this occasion.
  • That you have previously enrolled for the Video chat service. If not, our operatives will talk you through this simple process.
  • Our Call Centre staff will discuss payment arrangements. Our current method of payment for cash Video chat calls is via Credit Card in advance. (A subscription service is envisaged in the near future).
  • Our staff will then arrange a suitable time for our Doctor on Duty to call you to Video chat.

In the event that our Doctor on Duty prescribes some medication for you, the prescription will be posted to your home address the following morning. If requested and where prior arrangements are in place, Doctor on Duty will Fax the prescription to your Pharmacy of choice. Letters of referral will also be posted to the patients home address where appropriate.
